Cleaning steps

1. Remove the spray head

Turn off the water source: First turn off the water supply valve of the kitchen sink to avoid water leakage during disassembly.

Unscrew the spray head: Most spray heads can be removed by turning counterclockwise.

Separate parts: If the spray head has a filter or aerator, remove it and clean it separately.

2. Initial Rinse

Rinse the detached spray head under warm water to remove loose debris.

3. Soak to remove scale

Submerge the nozzle: Place the spray head in a plastic bag filled with white vinegar, then seal the bag around the nozzle using a rubber band or string. Alternatively, if the nozzle is removable, fully immerse it in a vinegar-filled bowl.Soak & loosen buildup: Let it sit for 15–30 minutes—the acetic acid will break down mineral scale and grime.

4. Scrub and unclog

Brush the surface: Dip a soft brush in vinegar or soapy water to scrub the stains on the nozzle surface and gaps.

Clear the nozzle: Use a toothpick or a fine needle to poke through the nozzle holes one by one to remove clogged scale or impurities.

Clean the bubbler: Use a toothbrush to scrub the filter of the bubbler to remove mud and scale.

5. Install and reset

Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water to ensure that there is no residue.

Reinstall the nozzle and bubbler as they were, and tighten them clockwise.

Turn on the water source and test whether the water flow returns to normal.

Following these steps, your kitchen faucet spray head should be running smoothly, improving water flow and longevity.
